RE/MAX Future Expands Elmhurst Brokerage Following Transition From 14 Years as an Independent Firm

RE/MAX Future is expanding its presence in Elmhurst and Chicago’s western suburbs, growing to more than 20 real estate brokers following owner Jack Pysz’s decision to transition his longtime independent brokerage to the RE/MAX network.

Pysz operated an independent real estate brokerage for approximately 14 years before making the decision to franchise with RE/MAX. The transition represented a major change for a company that had spent more than a decade building its business independently.

“After running independently for 14 years, joining RE/MAX was a big decision,” said Pysz, Owner and Managing Broker of RE/MAX Future. “Looking back, it was one of the best decisions of my career and a game changer for our company. We were able to maintain the local relationships and culture we had built while gaining access to additional resources and a globally recognized brand.”

Brokerage Grows to More Than 20 Brokers

RE/MAX Future’s Elmhurst office now includes more than 20 real estate brokers. Pysz remains actively involved in brokerage management, agent development, training and transaction oversight.

The company’s focus is on providing brokers with technology, marketing resources, education and professional support while maintaining the locally focused environment established during its independent years.

“We didn’t want to lose what made us local,” Pysz said. “The goal was to build on what we already had and give our brokers more opportunities to grow their businesses.”

New Construction and Development

New construction and residential development also remain important areas of the brokerage’s business.

During his 16-plus-year real estate career, Pysz has completed more than 550 home sales, including over 100 new construction homes, and has been involved in more than 150 rehab and flip transactions.

His experience includes working with homeowners, investors, builders and high-end developers throughout Elmhurst and Chicago’s western suburbs.

Pysz regularly works alongside architects, civil engineers, surveyors, designers and contractors on projects involving new construction, teardowns and redevelopment. His experience also includes land assemblage, combining and splitting parcels, zoning, permitting, municipal approvals and evaluating properties affected by flood-zone considerations.

Pysz is also a Certified Luxury Home Specialist, Certified Home Design Professional and Real Estate Ethics Arbitrator.

Looking Ahead

As RE/MAX Future continues to grow, Pysz says the company plans to remain focused on developing its brokers while expanding its presence in residential sales, luxury real estate, new construction, investment properties and development.

“Real estate has changed dramatically since I first opened an independent brokerage,” Pysz said. “The technology has changed, consumers have changed and the expectations placed on agents are higher. Our job is to make sure our brokers have the tools, knowledge and support they need to compete.”

While Pysz’s personal career includes more than 550 home sales, he says the next chapter is increasingly focused on the growth of RE/MAX Future and the professionals within the company.

“The transactions are part of my story, but today I’m just as focused on what we can build as a company and what our brokers can accomplish,” Pysz said.
